New panel on visitor movement and experience in Banff National Park

This afternoon, Parks Canada announced that it will create an expert panel to advise the Agency on the development of a long-term framework for the sustainable movement of visitors in the Bow Valley in Banff National Park. READ THE FULL STORY

This is welcome news and further proof that AMPPE’s efforts are working. AMPPE has been calling on the federal government to invest in social infrastructure such as mass transit and active modes of transportation to both reduce the carbon intensity of transportation within the Mountain Parks and to ensure the safety and accessibility of Park users.
