Meet Stavros, another dedicated AMPPE Board Member!

Stavros is a lifelong avid cyclist, skier and runner.  His passion for the outdoors has been reflected in his 20 years of volunteer work with the Bow Valley Mountain Bike Alliance (BVMBA) where he can be found (mostly) skillfully using a polaski.  He has served in many other roles within Banff, and the province of Alberta, including ten years as a municipal Councillor in Banff, Founder of the Alberta Craft Distillers Association, President of the Banff Housing Corporation, Vice-Chair of the Bow Valley Regional Transit Commission, Director of Banff and Lake Louise Tourism, and is currently the Chair of the Banff Municipal Planning Commission.  He is proud to represent the interests of cyclists and human-powered recreationalists of all ages on behalf of the BVMBA with AMPPE.
